Bret Holmes is an American professional stock car racing driver. He was born on April 12, 1997, in Munford, Alabama. Holmes began his racing career in go-kart racing before moving up to Super Late Model racing.
Holmes made his debut in the ARCA Menards Series in 2016 and has been competing in the series ever since. He has earned four wins, 31 top-five finishes, and 61 top-ten finishes in the series. Holmes won the championship of the 2020 ARCA Menards Series.
In addition to ARCA, Holmes has also competed in NASCAR and has made three starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, recording a best finish of 15th.
Outside of racing, Holmes is involved in his family's commercial real estate business and also works as an analyst for the NBC Sports Group's racing coverage.
